With solemn reverence, we commemorate Donald Carpenter of Cedar, Iowa, whose life came to an end on November 1, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carpenter and Martha Carpenter (Meyer); his aunt Roberta Meyer; and his cousin Gary Marsch. He is survived by: his wife Geri (Rogstad); his daughters, Carrie Weers (Tim) and Melissa Wagner (Justin); his grandchildren, Calissa Wilson (Jack), Camryn, Erika and Mason; and his siblings, Kathy Carpenter, Nancy McClannahan, Dennis Carpenter (Rosa), Dan Carpenter (Kristie) and Donna Hoffmann (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Cedar Rapids Metro Parkinson's Association and Essence of Life Hospice.
