We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2023, Dorothy Holmes in Cedar, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Bolhuis and Rena Bolhuis (Muller); her husband James Holmes; her grandson Shaun; and her brother Chris.

She is survived by : her children, Lindy Rubio (John) of Shepherd, Michigan, Becky Pinckert (Gary) of Palmer, Mark Holmes (Jody) of Clive, Iowa, Brian Holmes (Terri) of Ankeny, Iowa, Sandi Caskey (Chris) of West Chicago and Bill Holmes (Kathy) of West Branch. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, Cedar Manor Nursing Home or St. Croix Hospice.
