With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ed Wiseman of Cedar, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ed Wiseman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman J. Wiseman and Virgina Wiseman; his children, Paul Wiseman and Kathryn Wiseman; and his brothers, Robert Wiseman and Sherman W. Wiseman.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughter Marjorie Carlson (Frank); his stepsons, Rob Fiser (Kariann) and Rod Fiser (Lorene); his grandsons, David Kintz, Patrick Carlson (Genevieve) and Brandon Carlson; his stepgrandchildren, Ashton Fiser, Zackary Fiser, Amber Fiser and Justin Fiser; his great grandchildren, Logan Gilmore, Helton Kintz, Lacey Kintz and Jacque Kintz; and his sister Edna Maury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1363 1st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
