Edward touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hoffman and Anna Hoffman (Mally); and his siblings, Frank Hoffman and Loretta Higham (Ron). He is survived by: his wife Roberta (Holland); and his children, Susan Livermore (late Steve), James Hoffman and John Hoffman (Wendy). He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one niece and five nephews; three great-nieces and four great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
Memorial contributions may be given in Ed's Memory to the Hiawatha Care Center for the wonderful-loving care that he received while there.
