He was predeceased by : his mother Gwendolyn Kates; his stepmother Georgia Vasser; his sister Sonya Vasser; and his nephews, Ramone Vasser and Martez Ceasar.
He is survived by : his father Edwin Andre Vasser Sr.; his wife Antoinette Vassar of Cedar Rapids; his children, Taveon Vasser (Kat) of Sussex, Wisconsin, Natasha Ajeti (Imer) of Cedar Rapids, Chris Vasser of Cedar Rapids, Andre Vasser III (Danielle) of Oklahoma, Ethan Vasser (Ellie) and Elijah Vasser (Karissa) of Minnesota; and his siblings, Raymond Vasser (Dina), Kenny Vasser (Kim), Chavon Vasser and Stephanie Vasser. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund at BMO bank, under Edwin Vassar Memorial Fund.
