He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gerhold and Sophia Gerhold; his siblings, Erma Gerhold, Elsie Kray (Karl) and Henry Gerhold (Esther); his niece Barbara Thompson; and his nephew Virgil Kray.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Lora Behrens, Cheryl Cudworth (Dave), Delbert Kray (Karen) and John Gerhold; and his cousin Judy McCarty. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews.
