She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Plate and Lorena DeBruin Plate; her parents-in-law, Byron and Evelyn Engelhoven; and her brother-in-law Loren Englehoven.
She is survived by: her husband Vern Engelhoven of Cedar; her daughters, Kristine Engelhoven of Newton and Katie Engelhoven of Cedar; her siblings, Laura Crandle (Jeff) of Spring Lake, Michigan and Steve Plate (Sandra) of Rose Hill; and her brother-in-law Lowell Engelhoven (Kathy) of Oskaloosa.
