She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Balster and Helen Marie Sweeney; and her husband Gerald L. Stender. She is survived by: her children, Tina Williams and Terry Stender; and her grandchildren, Johnathan (Kate), Amber (Dave), Joshua, Ryker, Patty, Kevin, Shawn, Keela (Jeffrey) and Domanic (Angela).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
