It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lancaster Sr. of Cedar, Iowa, born in Darlington, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harlow Lancaster and Martha Lancaster (Wenger). He is survived by : his wife Lucy; his children, John Jr. (Katie), Susan of Marion, IA, James (Pat) and Mark (Sara); his grandson John; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Claire, Emily, Kirsten, Hannah, Sean (Eileen), Angela, Michael (Bethany) and Alex Schuerman (Mark).

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Trees Forever in his name.
