She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Owen and Margaret Owen; her stepfather Reuben Fencl; and her sister Jackie Pence. She is survived by: her significant other Leroy Swore; her children, Scott Swore of Cedar Rapids, Julie Roe (Doug) of The Villages, Shawn Atay (Ersin) of Cedar Rapids and Sara Baldus (Joe) of Cedar Rapids; her daughter-in-law Renee Swore of Cedar Rapids; and her siblings-in-law, Sandy Swore McCright of Cedar Rapids, Darlene Swore of Cedar Rapids, Sharon Gladwin of Cedar Rapids, Carol Swore of Cedar Rapids and Denny Gladwin of Erie. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
