The passing of Linda Smith of Cedar, Iowa, born in Colorado Springs, Colorado leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 78. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Sturbaum and Gladys Sturbaum (Keeler); her husband Howard Smith; her daughter-in-law Melissa Smith; and her niece Julie Sturbaum.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Smith, Jason Smith (Noelia) of Edinburg, TX and Christopher Smith (Kelly) of Dubuque, IA; her grandchildren, Corey, Dillon, Ashley, Chloe and Olivia; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Scarlett and Ayden.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
