It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Bonesteel of Cedar, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Marguerite departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marguerite. Though Marguerite may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver P. Bonesteel; her parents, Clyde Davis and Margaret Davis; and her brother Jim Davis. She is survived by: her sons, James Bonesteel (Malinda) of Reidsville and Stephen Bonesteel (Donna) of Newton; and her sister Beverly Hedgecoth (Dale) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
