It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Alford of Cedar, Iowa, born in Callender, Iowa, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Larson and Mabel Larson; her husband Bill (Bill) of Saviour's Lutheran Church; and her sisters, Gwen Bailey, Betty Petersen and Phyllis Jorgensen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Fritts (Jack), Amy Lunemann (Dave) and Susan Boeckmann; her grandchildren, Lisa Kesse (David), Jessica Carney (Devin), David Nakai, Andrea Nakai (Sheffield Goodrich), Ryan Lunemann and Caty Snipes (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Adam, Jane Kesse, Kai Goodrich, Archer and Ryker Frederick. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
