It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Miell of Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Ries and Armella Ries; her brother Dale Ries; her father-in-law Kenneth Miell (Wilma); and her siblings-in-law, Ivan German, Joe Staebell, Bill Phelps, Gary Miell, Marge Spratt and Dixie Myers.
She is survived by : her husband Jack Miell; her children, Tony Miell (Kelly), Jeff Miell (Jennifer), Teresa Chally (Todd) and Barney Miell (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Heather Sproston (Josh), Jennifer Puetz (Tony), Kaitlyn Miell, Jessica Sheridan (Justin), Erika Chally, Anna Miell, Joseph Miell, Jonathan Miell, Kaylee Asquith and Bryce Asquith; her siblings, Helen Staebell, Ruth Phelps, Diane Schwendinger (Richard), Karol Beatty (Marvin), Karen Arnold (Charles) and Dave Ries (Sheila); and her siblings-in-law, Rick Miell (Karen) and Patricia Miell. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
