He is survived by: his children, Jenny Townsend (Tristan), Nina and Nathan Thompson; his grandchildren, Simone, Davonte, Bennett and Aniyah; his sister Lisa Thompson; and his niece Alexis Guess.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
