With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Nelson of Cedar, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Nelson; her siblings, Richard and Patricia; and her parents, Claude Schnoebelen and Madeline Schnoebelen.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Linda) of Arcadia, MI and Jeffrey (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Nicolas (Kate), Christopher (Amber), Jennifer and Erik; and her great grandchild Ethan.

In honor of her loving dedication to caring for Wallace during his years of battling Alzheimer's, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
