With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Fowler of Cedar, Iowa. Richard, born on February 26, 1933 in Ames, Iowa, passed away on July 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo; his parents, Edward Fowler and Alice Failor; his sister Jane Brown; his brothers-in-law, John Highbarger and Dennis Klute (Jean); his nephews, David Norris and Joe Highbarger; and his niece Linda Pease.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Mai (Mike), Sarah Allen (Dan), Ted Fowler (Gloria) and Amy Fowler (Rich). He is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one niece and nephew and many extended family.
