He was predeceased by: his wife Veryl Sorensen of Thornton; and his daughter Jane Hansen. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Hansen of Houston, Andrew Hansen (Deb) of Cedar Rapids and Jill Hansen of Houston; his granddaughter Christine Osorio (Santiago); his great grandchild Malcolm Osorio of Plano; and his brother Gerald Hansen (Laquetta) of Mason City.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (4420 Center Point Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
