Robert Zahradnik, born on September 11, 1938, passed away on August 15, 2026. Robert leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Zahradnik and Jessie Zahradnik (Booth); his wife Barb; and his brother Jerry Zahradnik. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Plank of Seal Beach and Jill Hartnett-Schmitt; his son-in-law Rob Schmitt of Chicago, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Courtney Ayotte, Caelan Plank of California, Austin, Allie and Zach of Illinois; and his great grandchild Charlotte of California.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (1340 3rd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or Camp Courageous.
