He is survived by: his son Chad Roderick (Kristin) of Dubuque; his wife Betsy Mallett; his grandchildren, Oliven Caszatt of Mt. Vernon, Alexandria Caszatt Niblett (Jonathan) of Phoenix, AZ and Sarah Caszatt Sigsbee (Aaron) of Mesa, AZ; his great grandchildren, Jamison Caszatt, Jace Niblett, Adrianna, Anastacia and Aurora (Niblett); his brother Terry Caszatt (Marlene) of Alden, MI; his siblings-in-law, Lori Brakeman of Orange City, FL, Lowell Mallett of Gladwin, MI and Gordon Mallett (Janet) of Big Rapids, MI; and his family First Presbyterian Church. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (220 40th St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
