He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Dirks (Waline) and Clarence Dirks; his brothers, Clarence Jr. (Clancy) and Richard (Rick); and his nephew Scott.
He is survived by: his wife LouAnn (Meisner); his children, Jessica (Marco), Jennifer and Michael; his grandchildren, Makenzy, Shyla, Harlow and Malaki; his children, Isley, Tucker and Frankie; his brother Randy (Leann); his parents-in-law, Betty Zalesky and Bill Meisner; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Meisner, Sue Butler (Billy), Lori Chupp (Ron) and Kari Otis (Mark). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to American Legion Post 298 and MeadowView Memory Care Village.
