With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Scheufele of Cedar, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on August 21, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Jongewaard and Helen Jongewaard; her sister Narola Grady; her nephew Kyle Grady; her parents-in-law, Charles and Mary Scheufele; and her brother-in-law Robert Goehl.
She is survived by : her husband Gary Carl Scheufele; her daughters, Jennifer Hill (Steven) of Cedar Rapids and Jaclyn Ruth Scheufele of Marion; her grandsons, Zachary, Alexander and William Hill; her siblings, Richard Jongewaard (Patricia), William Jongewaard (Lori) and Diana Horgen (Jahn); and her brother-in-law Michael Grady.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
