Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Scott Whiting of Cedar, Iowa, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 65, on June 30, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whiting and Margaret Whiting; his sisters, Barbara Powell and Tamara Jedlicka; his brother-in-law Jerry Jones; and his grandfather-in-law Evelyn Stemple.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Sabrina (Russ), Seth (Kelti) and Kelsey (Jesse); his grandsons, Cooper and Cole; and his sisters, Darlene (Rodney), Debra (Mike) and Brenda (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the King of Kings Lutheran Church (3275 N Center Point Rd, Cedar Rapids, IA 52411).
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to both Scott and Donna, as no child should ever have to experience cancer.
