She was predeceased by: her parents, Eithel Hocking and Walter Hocking; her husband Bob; and her brother Roger Hocking. She is survived by: her children, Jan Nelson (Mike), Jim Eppel (Jane) and Julie Copping (Paul); her grandchildren, Jaci Skiba (Tim), Stef Fortin (Sam), Lucas Eppel and Jacob Eppel (Kayla); and her extended family, John Toussaint (Sue) and Carol Gannon (Dave). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's United Methodist Church (4700 Johnson Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
