With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom Kemp of Cedar, Iowa, born in Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rex Kemp and Marian Kemp; his parents-in-law, Cecil and Bernice Petersen; his brothers, Jerry Kemp and Tim Kemp; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Ericson and Charlie Campbell.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Petersen; his sons, Eric (Erin) and Corey (Nikki); his grandchildren, Alli, Austin Kemp, Lauren, Landon Kemp and Brianne Skogmo (Phil); his siblings, Larry Kemp (Kathleen), Kathy Stockdale (Ray) and Janice Ericson; his sister-in-law Virginia Kemp; and also Scotty Skogmo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oldorf Hospice House or to the Dementia Society.
