He is survived by: his wife Victoria Jan Hulshizer; his brother John Oakley (Teresa); his children, Janet Henry (Doug) and Christopher Oakley; his grandsons, Nickolas, Matthew and William Henry; and his brother-in-law Frank Hulshizer (Susan).
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church (2736 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
