He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Chapman and Myrtle Chapman; his siblings, Alberta Starr, Glen Chapman, Verl Chapman (Joyvonne), Denny Chapman and Lester Chapman; and his son-in-law Mark Bader.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Chapman of Center Point, Iowa; his children, Terry Bader of Guttenberg, Mike Chapman (Tina) of Walker, Jeff Chapman (Becky) of Center Point, Tonia Techau (Keith) of Lisbon and Brandy Chapman of Florida; his siblings, Vern Chapman (Delores) of Onieda, Lyle Chapman (Sandra) of Center Point and Harold Chapman (Joan) of Center Point, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Monica Chapman of Manchester, Iowa. and Marilyn Neuhaus of Manchester, Iowa.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
