He was predeceased by: his father Darrell Stimson; his parents-in-law, Don and Justine Owen; and his mother Dolores Clemans Stimson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Stimson of Center Point; his brother Craig Stimson of San Antonio, TX; his cousins, Sheryl Nemec (Rod) of Cedar Rapids and Tracy Nemec of Marion; his in-laws, Bob Owen (Geri) of West Liberty, Jeff Owen of West Liberty and Karen Schemmel (Kevin) of West Liberty; his nieces and nephews, Emma Stimson, Michael, Matt Owen (Hannah), Alyssa and Nathan Schemmel; his friend Greg Krumm of Alabama; and his pet Lewy.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Glioblastoma Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
