She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Ricketts and Orpha Ricketts (Howe); her husband Bud; and her siblings, LaVelle Elswick, Lottie Brown (Willis), Nola Brown (Lester) and Allen Rickets.
She is survived by : her son John McCarthy (Claudia); her granddaughters, Jackie, Shawna and Mary; and her sister-in-law Shirley Ricketts. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
