He was predeceased by: his brother Lawrence Lee Ranes; his parents, Harley Ranes and Josephine Ranes; his grandparents, Frank and Lucy Belloma; his great-grandparents, Joe and Mary Lamantia; his nephew Kevin Arbogast; Leo, Coleen McConville, James and Madge Richardson.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ranes of Mary's Catholic Church; his sons, Bryan Ranes (Jamie Navarette) and Scott Ranes (Sharon); his grandchildren, Maddie, Eli and Jack; his siblings, Richard Ranes (Peggy), JoAnne Arbogast (Jerry) and Susanne Ballanger (Ronnie); his brothers-in-law, Jim McConville and Mark McConville; and his aunt Ann Green. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, friends, coworkers.
