He is survived by : his wife Patricia Cooperider Speirs; his sisters, Renea Thompkins (Michael) of Moravia, IA and Tina Powers (Stephen) of Quincy, IL.; his grandchildren, Dale Brooks, Dalayna Brooks, Henry Speirs III, Josiah Speirs and Cortez Franklin; his nephews, Maurice Speirs (Amber) of Newton, IA, Robert Tasco (Danielle) of Cincinnati, IA and Stephen Powers (Jessica) of Quincy, IL.; his niece Samantha Powers (Jay) of Quincy, IL.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaiah Speirs of Newton, IA, Kamden Speirs of Newton, IA, Lincoln Selk of Newton, IA, Teagan Speirs of Newton, IA, Maurice A Speirs of Newton, IA, Destiny Speirs of Newton, IA and Jaydah Weldon, Jr.; his brothers-in-law, William Russell Cooperider of Hannibal, Gerald Cooperider (Laura) of Independence, Travis Blackwell (Sam) of New London, Mike and Mark Blackwell of Hannibal; and his close friends, Eddy Casey (Cindy) of La Grange, David Forrest (Sarah) of Quincy and Stella Hinds.
