He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Koran Brees and Ila Mae Brees (Palmer); his wife Connie VanDyne; his children, Chasity Brees-DeYoung (Melissa) and Christopher Brees; his sisters, Karen Santana, Nancy Brees, Sarah Rupalo (Duane) and Mary-Lynn Freuh (Don); his niece Katie Freuh; and his brother-in-law Tony Santana.
