He is survived by : his son Chris Pate; his grandchildren, Abigail, Austin (Elvira), Terrance, Adam and Michelle; his daughter Lindsey Varese; his grandchildren, Damien, Shaddix and Heather Franklin (Jay); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Ashley, Eva, Addison and Jettie; and his siblings, Juanita Altman and Jerome Pate.
