He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vanderheyden and Julie Ann Vanderheyden (Starcevich); his half-sister Leona Kauzlarich; and his siblings, Loretta Campbell, Raymond, Ronnie, Ned and Ted Vanderheyden.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bone; his children, Shona Varese, Jamey Vanderheyden (Sara) and Nicholas; and his grandchildren, Zach Varese, Jullian and Ava Vanderheyden.
