He was predeceased by: his parents, Iona M. Burton and Iona M O'Brien (Burton); his stepfather Arthur O'Brien; and his siblings, Kenneth Baker and Kathryn "Katie" O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Errolyn Bilson (Huntington) of Centerville; his children, Michael Bilson (Janice) of Edgerton, Lisa Martin (Otto) of Lawrence, Tonja Page of Milan and Marla Small (David) of Centerville; his grandson Jace Walker of Lee Summit, Missouri; his great grandchild Carly Christionson of Lee Summit, Missouri; and his siblings, Terry O'Brien (Jennifer) of Kansas City, Barry O'Brien (Andrea) of Southport, Cynthia Villa of Kansas City, Gerald Ray O'Brien of Bloomsburg, Lin Wesley-Brown of Portland and Rae Mills of Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church (27209 IA-2, Moulton, IA 52572). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
