It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Burgess Maddaleno of Centerville, Iowa, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kathy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kathy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Centerville (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church - Centerville (410 N Main St, Centerville, IA 52544).
