He is survived by: his parents, Richard McCoy and Ruth Ann Sego; his siblings, Henry Garrigus (Laura) of Dubuque, Mae Brookhart (Ron) of Centerville, Johnny MacRunnel of Texas, Sandra Jimenez of Ames, Davina Wooten of Alabama, Dawn Repp of Albia and Colin McCoy (Tisa) of Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Augie Garrigus, Hannah Garrigus, Alicia Garrigus, Luke Garrigus, Shawna Negus (Bruce), Ronnie Brookhart (Kendra), Bradley Young, Katie Brookhart, Hayden Brookhart, Vayda Barnett, Callie Mae Westcott, Marissa Lynn Baker, Cheyenne Raine Wheeler, Alissa Marie Wheeler, Xavier Daniel McCoy and Makenna Nikole Haring.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 2nd 2027 at the Thomas Funeral Home (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544).
