He was predeceased by: his cousin Nathan Hornick; and his friends, Roy Silhanek and Jamie Zaputil. He is survived by: his parents, Perry Parson and Diana Parson (Newquist); his former spouse Chrissy Brace; his children, Maddi Mackin (Cody), Bradden Parson (Summer McSweeney) and Dylan Parson; and his grandchildren, Zayden Mackin, Delilah Parson and Adeline Parson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas Funeral Home - Centerville (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
