She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Albert Gardner and Nadine Gardner (Jordan); and her siblings, Beverly Peckham, Richard Gardner and Jim Gardner.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Thomas; her children, Jeff Thomas (Peggy), John Thomas (Teresa), Jim Thomas (Robin) and Jennifer Wakefield (Jeff); her grandchildren, Grant, Adam, Alexander, Daniel, Paul, Molly, Andrew and Lauryn; and her siblings, Leroy "Butch" Gardner (Janice) and Rosalee Inman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Centerville (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Haines Cemetery (15426 IA-5, Moravia, IA 52571).
