She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Stickler and Margaret Young Stickler; her husband Marvin Walter; her brother Rick Stickler of LaPorte City, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Shelley Stickler.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Dennis Stickler Jr. (Stephanie), Steven Stickler (Stacy Knapp), Trinita Shewry (Chad), Alissa Burger (Jason), Matt Stickler (Brooke), Melanie Billington and Mindi Blizek (Mason). She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and a great-great-nephew.

A memorial has been established and will be designated at a later date.
