He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Thomas and Jeanne Thomas (Lang); and his son Devon Moorman. He is survived by : his wife Becky Thomas; his son Nick Thomas (Anna); his grandson Avery Thomas; and his sisters, Rebecca Buelow (Mark) and Kay-Dawn Johnson (Jeff).
