He is survived by: his wife Wendy Mundy; his sons, Don (Chrystal Mundy) and Brian William Mundy; his grandsons, Nathan Mundy and Hunter Mundy; his brothers, Dan (Sonya Mundy), Chuck Mundy and Steve (Lori Mundy); his mother-in-law Maude Klages; and his brothers-in-law, Chad Thorpe (Kim), Joe Klages (Carrie) and Bill Klages (Darlene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fielding Funeral Home (227 S Grand St, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Chariton Cemetery (901 Main St, Chariton, IA 50049).
