Connie Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Smith of Chariton, Iowa, who passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle May and Kathleen May; her husband W. B. Smith; and her daughter Linda Marie. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Smith (Lisa) and Doyle Smith (Stacy); her grandchildren, Brad Smith (Kelsey), Chad Smith (Mandy), Bailey Dudley (Jared), Brittney Slezak (Steven) and Macy Smith; her great grandchildren, Ledger, McKabe, Jace, Ruger, Henry, Tate and Colt; her sister Karen Stansbery; and her sister-in-law Ruth Argentia (Don). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Faith United Methodist Church in Russell.
