She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bricker and Effie Bricker (Waggoner); her husband Harlan; her sister Shirley; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Paula.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Rich and Cary; her son-in-law Chuck; her daughters, Sheryl Reed (Chuck) and Karen Adams (Dan) of Oskaloosa; her granddaughters, Megan Royer (Dalton) of Ames, Elizabeth Reed (Tamal) of Lancaster, PA, Rachel Strong (Matt) of Cedar Falls and Ellen Reed (Troy) of Woodbury, MN; her great grandchildren, Mia Royer, Dexter Strong and Ronin Strong; her siblings, Linda Kellar of Lake Elmo, MN and Marlin Bricker (Ann) of Juneau, AK; her stepdaughter Linda Brown (Ron) of Washington, IA; her stepgrandchildren, Richard Brown of San Diego, CA, Cary Brown (Dawn) of Brighton, Daegan, Dalton and Danica Brown; her honorary German; and her granddaughter Hannah Porsch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Lutheran Church in Chariton or Pin Oak Lodge in Chariton.
