She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McDonald and Hazel McDonald (Duckworth); and her siblings, Clell McDonald, Frank McDonald and Jean Halter.
She is survived by: her husband James Schneider; her children, John Schneider (Sharon) and Ellen Schneider; and her brother Bob McDonald. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Chariton Cemetery (901 S Main St, Chariton, IA 50049).
