She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Linden and Belle Vander Linden (Sims); her husband Charles "Whitey" Nelson; her children-in-law, Cheryl Nelson and Kevin DeGoey; her sister-in-law Leota Nelson; and her siblings, Viola, Louise, Muriel, Paul, Ira, Ray, Tub (Lucille) and Jack (Ruth).
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Nelson, Charles Nelson Jr. (Rhonda) and Barry Nelson; and her brother Dale Vander Linden (Judy). She is also survived by six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
