Geneva Wilson Obituary
We bid farewell to Geneva Wilson of Chariton, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Geneva touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Theodore and Hulda Melosine White (Bote); and her husband Clarence LeRoy Wilson of John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by: her children, LuAnn Mosbach (Tom) of Chariton, IA, Suellen LaZella (Troy) of Bondurant, IA and Mark Wilson (DeAnn) of Ankeny, IA.; her grandchildren, Abbie LaZella (Alee), Austin LaZella (Kelsey), Cole LaZella, Ben Mosbach (Mackenzie), Jake, Mike Mosbach, Mickensee O'Brien (Patrick) and Marcus Wilson (Presley); her great grandchildren, Kailor, Brexen LaZella, Huxtyn, Gibson LaZella, Finn, Logan, Hattie, Emma Mosbach, Caiden LaZella, Walker O'Brien and Holden Wilson; and her sister Helen Snodgrass (Jim). She is also survived by other loving relatives and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Chariton (914 Roland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1004 Curtis Ave, Chariton, IA 50049).
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or the Lucas Coun ty Health Center.
