She was predeceased by: her parent Hazel Schumann (Hull); her son Mark; and her siblings, Jewell, Don, Hubert and Gary.

She is survived by: her husband Garry Throckmorton; her son Mike Throckmorton (Laurie); her grandson Ian Throckmorton; her siblings, Joyce Throckmorton (Fred), Bud Schumann and Judy Dorsey (Lyle); and her sisters-in-law, Carmen, Carolyn, Joyce and Sharon Sheets. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
