She was predeceased by: her father Henry Ihnen; her husband Bill Welch; and her siblings, Bill Ihnen, Merle Ihnen, Sharon Brammer and Sandi Ihnen.

She is survived by: her mother Arlene Ihnen (Dunning); her children, Jindra Green (Bill), Janell Savage, Tami Swarts, Julie Welch (Jimmy Cooper) and Tony Welch; and her brother Dennis Ihnen. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, and many other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Janice's name may be directed to Mt. Zion Memorial Fund.
