He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Karns and Zada Karns; and his stepfather Burrell. He is survived by: his wife Carla; his children, Jeffery D. Karns and Stacey A. Peterson (Marcus); his grandchildren, Justin D. Karns (Jory), Taylor R. Karns, Jenna R. Karns, Aaron Peterson and Cael Peterson; his great grandchildren, James D. Karns, Jack M. Karns and Jozie A. Karns; his brother Doug D. Karns (Kristie); and his sisters-in-law, Lori Townsend and Lanette Simmons. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.
